East Village

This striking piece was applied on a perfect backdrop surface. The smooth earthy-red wall is smooth and warm. The throw-up has a really cool use of both curved and spiked letters. It's sort of rolling and menacing at the same time.

Be polite. The point is not that it looks pretty. But the point is more than just what it spells as a 'word.'

It's not that interesting to me to simply identify the writer / crew and spell out their tag/peice. The piece speak for itself without me having to 'translate' it. And although the ability to easily recognise writers demonstrates a grounding in this culture, that's not that primary to me.
