Often once you get up onto one roof top, you can access a whole multitude of others. Any rooftop that joins onto another and larger building is prime for a work out that will be visible from the street below. And usually the chances of getting caught doing this are quite slim. This formate therefore demands quality: so take your time and deliver something real special and colorful to the people.

I travel throughout Manhattan and Brooklyn photographing graffiti. I’m fascinated by this art form. It's outside the galleries: uncontrolled, often ugly, but always urban, interesting and new. I just wander throughout this great city on foot, in buses, and by subway waiting to stumble upon some graffiti I haven’t yet seen. When I spot something that looks interesting, I snap it on my camera. Along the way I listen to music, eat food, talk to people, sit on the pavement, read books, draw tattoos on my arms, and do whatever else comes along. At the end of the day I upload my photos onto this blog, and write comments about the work. I’m hoping the blog and my photos will add up to an interesting site about current New York grafitti and street art.

agreed, this however is neither special nor has colors. wtf?
Yeah I agree that this isn't the best example of awning work. My comment was really referring to graffiti applied to this location (ie from a lower rooftop to a higher one). I didn't mean that this particular piece had exemplified those factors.
